Welcome to the web pages for Hangingwater Studio, in Sheffield, UK. The studio is a small artist-run workspace, primarily for painting and printmaking, used by a number of artists for producing their own art work, and for small group teaching.

The web site provides information on the studio, the artists involved and their work, the classes that run in the studio and any forthcoming open studio events or exhibitions of work.

New course

Exploring composition, collage and woodcut printmaking using an experimental and playful approach to the creative process.

Six week workshop with prize winning Sheffield printmaker Samantha Groom. Small group for one to one support and lots of opportunities to use the press! Art equipment and materials supplied. Digital camera required for first workshop.
